Creative Armenia has just opened applications for Spark Grants, which will be awarded to cutting-edge creative projects across all art fields. A submitted project should be powerful, carrying a unique artistic vision; practical, with a realistic plan to bring it to life; and impactful, with a strong marketing and release strategy. Projects originating in or focusing on Artsakh are encouraged.

“Creative Armenia is proud to provide the spark for a new generation of film, music, literature, and art,” said Garin Hovannisian, Founding Director of Creative Armenia. “The future of our culture is brighter than ever.”

Creative Armenia has previously awarded Spark Grants to dozens of cutting-edge artists who are innovating the Armenian art scene. Recent highlights include Alan Semerdjian’s spoken word music album The Serpent and The Crane; Hovhannes Koshtoyan’s The Weaver art installation in Gyumri; and Kamee Abrahamian’s multidisciplinary Ensouled.
