Vanane Borian
Multidisciplinary Artist
Vanane Borian is a multidisciplinary artist and cultural activist working across video, digital art, and immersive installation, with a research-driven practice exploring feminism, identity, historical memory, and ecological interdependence. Through her fellowship project, she will continue her art-science research into underwater acoustic pollution and its impact on aquatic ecosystems, culminating in an installation that translates this research into an artistic experience.
Suren Tadevosyan
Cinematographer and Visual Artist
Suren Tadevosyan is an award-winning cinematographer and visual artist whose work spans film, photography, video, and conceptual multimedia art. His fellowship project explores the loss of warmth and emotional connection in human interactions through an interactive multimedia installation that combines thermographic imagery with real-time visual technologies.
Kai (Karen) Khachatryan
Sound Artist
Kai (Karen) Khachatryan is a sound artist whose practice explores the relationship between sound, movement, and place. During the fellowship, he will develop a live performance in which custom wearable instruments translate performers’ movements into sound and live-generated imagery, bringing movement, music, and visual art together in real time.
Shahen Khandkaryan (SHHAU)
Producer, Composer, and Sound Designer
Shahen Khandkaryan is an Armenian producer, composer, and sound designer whose practice brings together electronic music, improvisation, live performance, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Through his fellowship project, he will develop a live performance for electronics, strings, choir, and augmented percussion. The work will explore immersive staging, spatial composition, and hybrid acoustic-electronic systems to create a focused and emotionally engaging listening experience.
Davit Nersisyan
Photographer
Davit Nersisyan is an art and documentary photographer whose practice focuses on people and stories often left outside mainstream narratives, combining photography, archives, video, and writing with contemporary technologies. During the fellowship, he will explore how people with visual disabilities experience and understand the world through touch, developing a tactile sensing device and software that translates these connections into a new visual and sensory experience.
