Creative Armenia is pleased to announce the open call for its new program – the 2025 Creative Innovation Fellowship. Supported by the Vahé Fattal Fund in partnership with L’Œuvre d'Orient, the 10-month program is designed to empower Armenian artists working at the intersection of art and technology. It will provide five artists with €5,000 in funding, along with mentorship and workshops, to help them develop and realize their creative projects.
An annual initiative, the Creative Innovation Fellowship supports artists across all disciplines – from visual arts and music to digital media and fashion – who are pursuing innovative projects that combine artistic expression with technological advancement.
“At this turning-point in the history of art, we are excited to discover and support creators at the cutting-edge of our culture,” said Garin Hovannisian, founder of Creative Armenia.
The program is open to artists residing in the Republic of Armenia, as well as to those based abroad whose projects will be implemented locally or have a strong connection to Armenia. All interested applicants are encouraged to apply by July 13, 2025, at creativearmenia.org/creative-innovation-fellowship.
“L’Œuvre d'Orient is delighted to actively support innovative Armenian artists, in partnership with Creative Armenian and the Vahe Fattal fund,” said Luc Boureau, country director of L’Œuvre d'Orient. “New art expressions develop further the culture and resilience of the Armenian society in uncertain times.”
The Creative Innovation Fellowship is an addition to Creative Armenia’s diverse range of initiatives – including Artbox, East-West Residency, and Creative Armenia-AGBU Fellowships – all dedicated to investing in the growth and development of Armenia’s vibrant art and culture scene.
Creative Armenia is a global arts foundation for the Armenian people, committed to discovering, developing, producing, and promoting innovative talent.
