Creative Armenia launches creative incubator ARTBOX

Artists with commercially viable projects are welcome to apply

March 3, 2020  |  by Creative Armenia

Creative Armenia is delighted to launch ARTBOX, a creative incubator that provides four stages of support to powerful creative ideas with potential for commercial success: development, investment, production, and promotion.

“Understanding the relationship between commerce and art is essential,” said Alec Mouhibian, Founding VP of Creative Armenia. “ARTBOX is perhaps the first program in the world built to guide true artists through those tricky waters.”

ARTBOX is now receiving applications from artists and art producers in all creative fields—including film, music, literature, visual arts, theatre, design, and photography—who have Armenian origin or whose projects substantially connect to Armenian subjects.

“ARTBOX is supported by a powerful group of cultural investors,” said Anush Ter-Khachatryan, who oversees Creative Armenia’s programs. “Having the trust and support of our investors and a strong belief in the powerful creative minds, ARTBOX will champion arts and bring it to the market.”

ARTBOX is fueled by a group of cultural investors: Nina Bogosian Quigley, Sandra Shahinian, Melanie Dadourian, Diron and Andrea Jebejian, Edele Hovnanian, and Mesop Khoudagoulian.

The first round of applications is open now through May 1, 2020. Learn more and apply at creativearmenia.org/artbox.
