Creative Armenia, in partnership with the Boghossian Foundation, is excited to announce the 2026 East-West Residents. Over the summer and autumn of 2026, photographer Biayna Mahari, composer and sound artist Vardan Harutyunyan, and choreographer and performer Toma Aydinyan will be in residence at the Villa Empain in Brussels.
During the residency, the artists will spend a month working on their creative projects, immersing themselves in one of Europe’s most vibrant arts scenes, collaborating with international artists, and expanding their professional networks. They will also showcase Armenia’s creative talent on the European stage and bring new experiences and insights to the local arts sector upon their return.
Now in its eighth year, the East-West Residency has supported 17 Armenian artists, making it one of the most sought-after opportunities for artists from Armenia.
